Same here, so I searched it: http://www.oneplusoneequalsthree.com/what_is_113/index.html
But my decoding of it:
  • 1 + 1 = 2 and 2 hands make light work?
  • 1 + 1 = 3 in which the 3 may be read as a heart symbol and the 1 + 1 may be the representation of two individuals, in which case, the number 1 symbolises a person
  • Something political or ideological like the communist, "2 + 2 = 5"

I thought it was 2+2=fish ( flip one of the twos until both the curves touch.)

Ahhh - all this reminds me of those 'true' proofs that 1+1=1. :p

Thanks for enlightening me, Aplus :D

eh, i really haven't got a nickname, so i'll probably end up getting something lame that sounded funny at the time but will just sound gay in a few years time.
Haha this is exactly what I was worried about - I had a nickname based on an in-joke I was going to put on the back of my jersey, but realised it probably wouldn't be funny next year (or after a few weeks, really...), so I went with the old standby of my surname.

Do we get fitted or do we just get an order sheet with sizes and we tick the right size?

at my school, we just tick a box for our size, and put down our nick name, and the name we want written on the front.

Same.
Except I hate the concept of nicknames, that and I don't have one, haha.
So I'm the only one in my grade getting a blank one...but it won't be blank for long
I'm getting an msn emoticon that my friends call 'moonface' (a fat, yellow, moon-ish face sobbing) blown up and printed onto iron-on paper. Then I'm cutting it out and ironing it onto the back of my jersey.
Genius.

at my school we voted like last term and we had our deadline to pay the deposit last term and the nicknames are deadlined for today... i got my last name...we were all quite angry at the fact that we werent allowed to have underscores and asterix's and shit... we finally got numbers tho!!! YAY students 1 teachers 1 476 074
