is it just me, but was the last question, last part hard compared to other years?
cos everyone says "oh 2010 was easy!"

i found the end parts of q6 actually harder than most of q7.
but i do think that last years q7 was easier compared to other years.
q7 difficulty in 3u isnt really consistent anyways

q6 (b) (iii, iv, v) and all of Q7 (c) were foookin hard - but i guess that was the only tricky parts

q 7 was probability... so that was stupid as shit if we get prob for our exam I am screwed beyond belief.

Have you tried doing it? IMO most people think it's hard because they don't like the topic. It's actually pretty damn easy for a Q7.

The Q7 in 2010...the probability was 2 easy marks - the other was abit harder to see. It should definately have been in about Q3/Q4 in my opinion. I can't remember the rest of it on the top of my head but I remember getting around 6-7/12 marks in that part. The induction was quite easy in that section which is 3 easy marks and the first 2 of binomial were easy marks where the last bit was pretty much i-spy to use differentiation.

The 2010 exam overall was what I would consider to be typical.

The Q7 in 2010...the probability was 2 easy marks - the other was abit harder to see. It should definately have been in about Q3/Q4 in my opinion.

I usually get more or equal marks for question 7 as I do in question 3

No joke.
I usually get 7/12 or less for question 3 and my friend who's coming first gets like 7/12 for question 4.

Yeah, I do get those random slips with like that. In my trial, I got 2.5/12 because the whole question relied on a single 2 mark question which I didn't see how to do so I lost pretty much all of the marks in that section.
