2010 University Offers Thread (UAC, VTAC, etc) (No Spam) (1 Viewer)

My offers are:

Bachelor of Arts - University of New England
Bachelor of Arts - University of Wollongong
Bachelor of Arts - University of Tasmania
Bachelor of Arts - La Trobe University (Bundoora)

And currently I am enrolled in:

Bachelor of Arts - Australian National University
Bachelor of Arts - University of Otago

U.O.O. = cool! It looks and sounds amazing. I am halfway enrolled in a BA but have decided against it.
UTAS: I live in Tasmania, and, although I dearly love the place and it is amazing and unique, I would probably advise against going here for uni, go to ANU, Otago or La Trobe. Like it wouldn't be bad and UTAS do arts OK, but it wouldn't be as good an experience/opportunities.

I SHOULD get offers for:

B Arts in Communication (Journalism) and International Studies at UTS

B Media/B International Studies at the University of Adelaide

and B Arts/B Journalism at UTS.

I dunno cos I haven't checked the mail in two weeks lololol. I will take UTS if offered, but defer til 2011.

Arts/Marketing at Monash Caulfield

But Im thinking i might do Commerce/Science at Clayton instead.

I want to major psychology in either arts/science...
I'm confused. what do you think i should do? I really like the Clayton campus. But I also really like how I can specialise in marketing at caulfield,
but then again, I can always major marketing in Commerce.

any opinions? thanks for nayhelp

Got accepted into Swinburne for Media and Communications, missing out on my first preference at University of Melbourne. Still I could still get UNSW on Wednesday. Anyone know why they are released at night and not in the morning (Kinda guessing it's got something to do with international students)

Arts/Law at Uni of Adelaide
No offer from VTAC: applied for Law/Arts at Monash, Arts at Melbourne as well as Monash
Curious, I thought I should at least get an offer for Monash Arts.
Waiting for UAC offers to be released.
Now after the no offer was made from VTAC, I'm really uncertain about my UAC offers.
May end up staying at UWS, if moving to Adelaide is too challenging.

I checked the mail today and had:

B Asian and International Studies/Bachelor of Communication at Griff-dogg.
and
B. Media double degrees at UniAdelaide.

But after being on hold with QTAC for 25 minutes I'm changing my 1st pref to BA/BJ at UQ in case i don't get offered my desired course at UTS.

EDIT: Just got a TAFE offer for DipHRM. Will be rejecting that, I have no idea why I even applied.

so guess what VTAC did with me?

They failed to provide the Universities with the results from my Bachelor of Arts.. even though in the application they said I don't have to do anything, they'll forward them from my university. After getting no offers for main round I rang up unis only to be told they know nothing about my results or my GPA. =.=

So now I have spent the entire day mailing and faxing my transcripts to each university and have to wait until second round on Feb 5th... joy.

It's more nerve racking because my GPA converts to a percentage average of 68.7% and Victoria University accepts with around a 70% average to the Law courses. So i don't know if they'll let me in with despite the 2% based on my work experience and Pi Form.

That's weird. I thought they shared a system where the results of the applicant were accessible to all tertiary institutions. Good luck on round 2 offers!
