Anyone with a structure (not a full on essay) that works for labour market policy, please PM me. I will try and fix you up with whatever areas you need help with :)

love them

and @bored_ofhsccccccccc. Exactly why I hate case studies. I jsut have a few pointers on China and then you see people with memorised 1500 words case study essays with beautiful stats, makes yours look like shiz. mark gone.

BTW, what exactly does "work practices" mean? fml. labour market.

Could you post an example of a labour market question?

Explain how Australia’s labour market policies have affected work practices and employment.

Evaluate the effectiveness of labour market policies in achieving the Governments economic objectives.

wouldnt that just be relating it to government policy
e.g. labour market reforms --> boost productivit--> economic growth
and then unemployment through labour market programs
and then inflation
and income inequality through minimum wages etc
could link it to external stability too--> international competitiveness etc

@OzKo - These are perfect examples. Just basic paragraph structure even. I have no idea what you would even talk about!

I'd say
Inflation (3 years ago)
Environment (given the current issues)
Micro
Labour Markets (More than 6 years I think)
Protection (hasn't been asked in 6 years)
DIW

I don't think that these: will be asked
Case Study (It has been asked I think 4 times out of the last 5 years)
BOP (asked a couple of times in the last few years)

it was asked in 2010 and last case study was in 2009

my predictions are:
labour markets
conflicting eco goals and macro policies
case study
environment

I'd be sad if we got labour market policy, external stability, exchange rates or environment
What I'm hoping for is - case study, macro policy, protection/globalisation, unemployment and inflation

Just by even looking at the syllabus for labour market policies, what is there to argue/justify/discuss/analyse? It's all 'law = THIS THIS THIS'. If they come after us with 'how effective is dispute resolution in recent years?' ... We dun goofed.

Anyone know the approximate (or want to estimate) band 5-6 cut off mark?
