Hey, a friend of mine said this aligned mark various depending on your school rank and cohort performance in the actual HSC, is that true?
or does the aligned mark apply to anyone in any school as long as they achieves the raw mark?

For a start, I don't 100% understand what your question is asking. Furthermore, aligning is a process done by BOSTES as a standards-based adjustment process - as far as I know, school ranks and cohort performances don't come into play. It's a process applied to the whole state's marks as a whole!
