Flying through topic 3 atm, but if I was as prepared as I wish I'd been, I would well and truly have started topic 4 by now. My school only just started topic 3 lol.

Well if it makes you feel any better, we had to have an extra 3 hour class last weekend in order to finish external stability, so we aren't too far ahead either.

that's why you finish the course (write up all syllabus notes [dunno y i did dis - maybs i have no life lol]), revise content independently and do practice essays :D

2 ez
much effort
// lazy

practice essays are especially a pain in the ass cos almost everything in the course can be tested as an essay. Plus teacher has a penchant for testing us on 'short' extended responses (roughly 10-15 marks) which expands that aforementioned criteria even wider.

Is topic 3 meant to be short and fast? I don't understand how school can skip to topic four (policies) if we don't have any grounding in eco issues (topic 3). Logic.

(but srsly, it's weird that some schools do the topics in a weird order)
Writing notes works for some people for eco, but learning the content + important pointers from the teacher, as well as memorizing the content works for me. Writing out the essays is needed of course, but once you know the content the only issue would be knowing the stats you need.

:O

my teacher tends to race through the content all year round and I just slowly catch up in my own time (generally I make it just in time for exams lmao)

tbh though, I feel like topic 4 is almost a repeat of yr 11 so I'm not worried at all

My class tends to be distractive, otherwise if it was just the teacher, my mate and I, we would of finished at least a quarter of topic 4. #firstworldproblems

Say in Hamlet, if Claudius and Gertrude do the deed and they have a child. Is that child next in line to the throne or is hamlet still in line first? Thanks.

varies according to the person. I need notes to ensure I know the nuanced points meaning I cut out the BS stuff
I need notes too coz both textbooks kind of piss me off ><
dixon = too much blab and can be a bit basic at times
riley = over the top, only useful for prepping long responses imo

lel I'm one of the ppl in my class who gets distracted but majority of my class is silent and dead serious

yeh, tbh eco takes time for me to inculcate the info into my brain lel

lol, our class is lyk a banter arena, everyone trollz 4 lolz

That said, we do in general listen attentively
Unfortunately my class is very creative and anti-ceterus paribus, so we tend to make links that contradict everything as a form of 'trollz'. For example we were able to link income distribution to an appreciation of a countries currency. My teacher was like wtf.

HSC exam timetable still hasn't been released yet... probably it's still too early.
