trends have shown they've only asked for one related for mod C. but probably have a second just in case

but for me, ~no related text needed for mod c master race~
it was asked twice in 07 cssa paper, none from then on. And u don't do cssa?

cssa papers are a bitch, they'll probably ask for two. AOS was new so they went easy asking for one related.

I thought the pic was the conquistadors and the incas. That image was rubbish though.
What techniques did you do?

I pretty much only talked about the body language of them, how one native was leaning backwards, so that meant it was a confronting discovery for him??? lol thinking about it now... maybe I didn't go well at all.

And the natives running away in the distance.

My hand felt like a truck had rolled over it after that exam.

My exam was okay. Wasn't CSSA, they make their own, but it was exactly like HSC.

Section 1 had image of like Romans or something invading some native people's land? I didn't really know what was going on there. They should have used an image of Europeans and Aborigines - at least then I would have known who I was talking about.

Section 2 had one stimulus and said write a story about changed eyes or something.

Section 3 had a really generic question, like discovery brings new ideas and values".

So I did essay first, just attempted to dump my generic, because it suited it, and added intro and conclusion which sucked. Then I did section 1, which was okay but I ended up just shoving in heaps of techniques and ideas, and I'm pretty sure it will read like vomit. The last 5 marker, was rushed because I realised I only had <30 minutes for creative. SO then I did creative, which I didn't memorise but could remember it fairly well, but because I didn't memorise, there wasn't a lot of nice description in there.

So yeah. I don't think I did terrible, but don't think I did excellent. Oh well.
lol we had a similar discovery question.

I'm obviously a rookie in HSC English, since I haven't done it, but talking about the Romans invading reminds me of when The Heart of Darkness mentions Europe was civilised by the Romans and they were passing this cycle on by civilising the Congo...of course I wouldn't know, since I didn't see the picture.

But yeah :D

Should I study integration of sin^2x and cos^2x for ext 1 exam? As I have never seen it in a past exam before but I learnt it in class!

Definitely! In my past exam papers for ext 1 they asked to calculate the volume of a sinx graph between 0 to pi/2 when it is rotated around the x axis. So yes you will need to learn it.

I'd assume that there would only be one, but there really should be a problem of learning it. All you got to remember is: and

Which is quite simply just double angle formula for cos
