Yeah but for some reason, I don't get an answer which is in the form of an acute angle
Inverse tan of a positive number will always be an acute angle. You may need to add or subtract a multiple of 180 deg. if you want the answer to be in some other range.

Find the acute angle between the lines:

3x-2y+1=0 & x+5y+3=0

I got tan (alpha) to be 17/7 and whenever I tan inverse, I'm getting some fucked up value
probs it's in radians then
if you're using Casio, then make sure its in degrees by pressing shit+setup, then press 3

The inverse tan of that should be 67.619864.... deg.

I did inverse tan (17/7) and got 1.180... some random shit and then when I converted it to degrees I got 1 degree 10 minutes 48.68 seconds
Yup that's definitely the radian value of 17/7. press shit+setup and 3 and now try and you'll get 67.62..
if you're still not getting 67 then something wrong lol

To see whether your calculator is in degree or radians, it should display at the top of the screen a letter "D" if it's in degrees mode, or "R" if it's in radians mode (for the usual Casio calculators).

Yeah it was in radians mode which account for why I fcked up the question and got confused af. Now I can actually focus on what I'm doing wrong

I just reset my calc before any test, and make some modifications.

The subjects I was the most passionate and interested in like Economics and Modern History I am getting average.

While in subjects I thought disliked and had no interest like Physics and Chemistry I happen to be topping in??? I never really liked Science that much even since Yr 7..

While English and 3 Unit are like Mehhh.... Doing alright in them but could be doing much better !

Btw my school is in top 100.

Yup it looks I am doing quite well in Phys and Chem rank plus overall marks. But I am ashamed I should be topping subjects like Eco and Modern! :evilfire:

Modern and Eco were my dream subjects I was destined to top in. ! Looks like I needa drop them but I am not going to at all. I can't believe I screwed up in these two, its probably becoz I became too nervous to do well in them and had high expectations of myself.
