if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the list I gave(it's sorted by rank order), the lowest ranking school is "Rooty Hill high school".

it has a 0.2% success rate. 1 band 6 last year, and a few years back they had 0 b6's

a school near me hasnt had a b6 since 2017

yeah the standards between my history teacher and english teacher are so different... i agree with you tho, i could get 5 paras in modern so easy but i struggle to get three in eng lmao

in 40 mins, 1000 is fine, trust me. one guy from my training got a raw 90 and his mod a essay didnt even hit 1000

3 paragraphs with detailed analysis and 3 quotes is insane. i usually do 2 paragraphs with 2 quotes, idk how ppl are banging out band 6s with 3 paragraphs and 3 quotes while having less time than me

if my teachers were to read these 20/20 essays, they would be slammed so hard...because when I give detailed explanations on how a quote relates to the topic sentence and thesis and purpose of the text, I'm told to be more specific but when the essays have literally 1 sentence for each quote and 6-7 quotes each for 3 body paragraphs, they get 20/20. Life's not fair

guys is 1100 words in 52 minutes reasonable or am I a really slow writer? I just timed myself doing a T.S. Eliot essay

so 45 minutes should be your goal if you're writing 1100 words...something more feasible would be 1000 in 40-45
