Yes but do take in constructive criticism which you seem to be icky about and that's ok. It just shows that you may want to feel more powerful (which may be what you are insecure about). It is alright if you have not experienced proper motherly love in your childhood but please do understand that taking in constructive criticism will change your life for the better and make you see things different if you are depressed!
