I (regrettably(?)) didn't study much, but the time I did felt like it's gone to waste. That is to say, I'm not at all advantaged -- In fact, perhaps disadvantaged -- in my classes still despite my efforts. Oh well, the voice(s) in my head tells me the "grind never stops" and other such things.

First day back at school n i couldnt stop thinking abt if its a good idea or not
like i had the chance to go to a better school but now im stuck at a 300-something school where if im not top 3 in all my subjects im fucked

whereas i couldve been at a school that i dont need to be top 3 bc regardless its a good school w a good cohort

ok so it went alright today ---
big ass rant just ignore this I couldn't post it on my profile so it ended up here

ive just got a lot to say about today for some reason???
all of my classes are so small lol!
there was like 15 people tops in adv eng, modern history had legitimately seven people there (and maximum of TEN on the roll), and the adv math class was like half the size of the 5.3 class lmao

ancient history had some idiots in it though its like a full class so i might need to do some work outside of class time if you know what i mean

but also lowkey i was a bit of an idiot i forgot what angkor watt was called and i forgot what the nazca lines were... (i guess no-one else really knew but like as i say there were some knobheads in that class so it doesnt really make me feel better...

on the upside i ALMOST guessed where the Tiger's Nest Monastery was (i guessed nepal and it was bhutan) and i guessed that skara brae was in Scotland?

my software teacher didnt give me back the assignment because apparently some idiots MIGHT have used AI to make it so we have to go through like a snippet of it with him one by one to prove we know what we r coding... and apparently it was ok that I didnt finish the over-the-holidays project since its not being marked or anything it was just to keep skills up over the break so Yay i guess? i'm still gonna like figure that shit out cuz im not going into the hsc like that but yk a good result...

and yeah i locked tf in on adv math like i was actually doing the work i know it sounds dumb to be happy abt that in yr 11 but i had/have a real problem with it so yay also

and i'm wearing novelty socks now lol i got inspired by this kid in my class last year and they were all just sitting in my cupboard anyway lol so today i wore these like gengar patterned ones...

i had a friend from bhutan we were so close only knew her for 2023 tho bc her temporary visa expired n she had to go back to bhutan

and i'm wearing novelty socks now lol i got inspired by this kid in my class last year and they were all just sitting in my cupboard anyway lol so today i wore these like gengar patterned ones...

I did this at my old school but my new one is fucking shit and wont let me. Now I have about 4 "appropriately coloured" socks and the rest have fun designs and patterns (Kittens, anchors, bananas, birds, horses) because I'm not soulless.
