Nah cause fr i hate writing essays- I love public speaking and i can hold a discussion very well- but as soon as you ask me to analyse and evaluate i cannot put pen to paper- HOWEVER I CAN TALK REALLY WELL BUT I ALSO HAVE A STUTTER WHEN I GET NERVOUS
genuinely when i need to think on the go im usually fine, but the moment i have to turn it into a coherent well-structured argument on paper everything goes flying out the fucking window like,,,,,, man i miss the good old days where they'd just give me one really long extract and tell me to answer reading comprehension questions and then id be done
Yeah I just hate writing English essays. I like writing essays for social science subjects cause there easy but English essays are just so annoying and require much more thought. Like last year I literally winged my geography exam and got a 14 out of 15 for the essay but in English I haven’t even gotten close to that even when I study for it
nah cause that's so real- i study for english quite a bit and i feel like my results aren't going anywhere-
THAT'S VALID- and i get really nervous but it comes into physical parts too- and then i can't focus and everything i've prepared decides to kill itself- IF I CAN READ AND SPEAK I CAN DO ENGLISH
Especially short answer. Like when I enter the exam room my brain literally goes blank and everything that I read doesn’t register in my brain

no bc like,,,,, everyone's writing so fucking fast and i keep second guessing my ideas & impulsively scrapping them even tho i've already started to write on them and by the time everyone's on their second/third page of writing i've just written an introduction paragraph i half-like and still figuring out what the fuck i want to do with my ideasy'all is anyone else like super self conscious when they're writing in class (english)

SAME and my handwriting is either way too big or way too small- so i'm thinking i'm either doing something wrong or my handwriting is illegible- and everyone exits thinking that was the best exam of their life whilst i'm second guessing every single life choice i've made-
Do u not handworte for exams. Like my teachers make us hand write for all subjects to prepare us for the hsc cause it is handwritten

ok true... for most people; i have PROBLEMS in my hands so i get to type
my normal tiny handwriting fits very snugly into my usual 5mm grid paper in most of my notebooks plus i hold my pens right where the body starts to taper into the narrow end, so its a genuine struggle to write ANYTHING large and it also means my handwriting is so fucking slow even when im writing in barely legible bastardized cursive,,,,,,,,, genuinely its so fucking annoying to know that you are (in spirit) 20 minutes behind everyone else and even if you try to fix it you end up reverting to your usual method of writing bc you forget to maintain it, and when you try to speed up you get too scared of your words being illegible and once again revert back to your most comfortable method. it fucking sucks!!!!!!!!!
