but if they are handling the test with oily fingers they might smudge an important word that makes all the difference.

Yes, but when students are in doubt they often make their writing illegible so it looks like an important word. Would this not have the same effect?

i've never thought of that before, good thinking .... hmmm.... in conclusion, i believe one hundred dollars would be more effective than one hundred peanuts. :)

but what if the markers are ALLERGIC to peanuts, as a lot of people seem to be?

my business teacher has had a $50 note stickytaped to a test he's marked, they are allowed to just take it as it doesnt belong to anyone but he didnt mark them any better. How coul you possibly do it, the supervisors would strangle me they watch my every move like a hawk! so scary, even my eyes wandering to look at the time
