2006 2U paper was easier than 2007 2U paper but of course 2006 3U paper was ridiculously harder than 2007 3U paper.

I found 2007 pretty good. Tried doing 2006 and nearly killed myself. There was tons of graphs and lines and all that crap I don't understand.

I dont mind if 3 unit is hard. Id probably actually prefer a paper like the 2006 paper.

I dont want 4 unit to be too hard though.

I'll tell you what's annoying, I did 2003 and 2002 2U papers today. 10% difference in my marks (2003 the lower one)

Ridiculous BOS. Ridiculous.

Can't they just make all the papers the same difficulties every yr......far out. my marks are like fluctuating sooo erratically

yeah ive done 2005 its was pretty straight forward nothing to hard.

but i have a really good rank, at a good selective school so it should be fine...i've just forgotten heaps from trials but there's still time!

Well over the past few weeks I've done every 2U paper since 1980, and they become progressively harder. So following the pattern, 2008 should be pretty challenging. Greatttttttt.....

That's so true. My teacher is saying ALL maths is getting easier, that is so wrong.

I've done years 90-05 in 2U and they're all about the same really. 01-05 had harder later questions (usually because of complex differentiation - they just give you infinity terms to whittle down) but really easy early questions to balance it, imo.

I'm doing 2006-07 tomorrow, hopefully they are the same difficulty as monday's exam.

isnt that what aligningis for at the end of the day, the board of studies direct specifies that for example, a band 6 (and any other band) in one year is the same as a band 6 or whatever in any other year...

I've only done the more recent ones, but I found them to get progressively easier. Then again, maybe I'm just getting better with each one I do.

HSC mark is inversely proportional to distance from teacher

be the first one there, last one out, and for 2unit prevision is always better than revision

and dont get tutoring, too many methods to do onething makes the mind too mechanical, and that is anti-mentality for q9-10 ; (4 dat tym) instead bug your teacher for extra q's nd stuff
