You mean in the actual hsc (raw) or internals (raw)?
Well, internal marks vary depending on schools. Different schools have different exams so the difficulty of the exam is not constant.

If you were to score the rough figure that I put up above, say 58, you will get like 45/50 mark for external. Internal, as I said, will depend upon the whole cohort.

he means your raw score out of 84, so 82 marks out of 84 =~100. Internals can't be considered like this. IF your rank is 1st, then your internal would be 100(if you got 100 external). If your second rank and you score 100 (External mark) in the exam then it really depends on how rank 1 went. Example: Say rank 1 got 90/100 (external) and you got 100 (external) then depending on the gap your internal mark would be <90... so you would get (100+88)/2=94 total mark

Mm thanks. But see, I don't think the 3u exams at my school are very hard, the ranks are very condensed at the top, but at the same time, supposedly my school ranks top 5 in the state every year for math. So if you have a cumulative internal of 95%, then what would you be expecting at the hsc, for aligned marks. Theoretically. :p

Despite how your cohort performs as a whole, there's no reason why you can't *SHINE*! ;)
