4unit maths in 2unit (1 Viewer)

Hey BOSer's,

I have been wondering this question for a while now. If I use integration by parts in a 2 unit exam would I penalised?

But they might give you one of those find the area of the shaded region where you have to find x in terms of y then use a line (x=3) to minus the area or something like that. So if you integrate by part then it solves the problem using 10 precent of the effort.

Wouldn't say 10%.
