Ok so if you do extension 2 maths then Extension 1 and Extension 2 are each worth 2 units.
So you dont do advanced maths at all.... Is that right??

You will need to learn Advanced Maths at school because they are the basis of the 3 & 4 Unit HSC Mathematics.

However, you won't take exams for Advanced. That's why they put Advanced Mathematics & Mathematics Extension 2 at the same time slot in HSC.
