Here are my subjects, yes I know I took the easy ones which I'm now regretting! Would say an average assessment mark of 70% in each subject get me a 60> UAI?

English (advanced)
Maths (general)
PDHPE
Senior Science
PE

Thanks

An average RAW mark of 70% will easily get you 60
However if the 70 you're expecting is the 70 that appears on your report (i.e. aligned 70) then it's a bit tougher

I'm aiming to get 65-70%> in all my exams and assessments during the year. So is 65-70% RAW like 75-80% alligned? (very rough estimate).

Just using this as a guide so I know what sort of marks I should be getting throughout the year to achieve a UAI of 60>.

thanks for the reply.

yeah, 70%+ raw is about mid 80s aligned i think.
depends on which subjects but - advanced yea, but maybe not for your other ones. i'm not too sure.

but 60 UAI+ is quite doable.

sorry for using your thread, but i can't find the start new thread button, so yeah. and it's kind of on topic,

i want to get a uai of 95+, i do the subjects below, with around 90% raw marks for all except english, which i'm probably expecting a band five in, is that doable?

i got around 95 with all band 5's

so you'll be likely looking at 97+

average uai of 63 for 2008....so take that.....ur close to if not a touch below average....highly duable given the nature of many students continuing from hsc

and please remeber that raw marks are in a way irrelevent....its more so the rank and to an extent the gap between marks....which will b more crucial....if u can post ure ranks and ur skool rank....we can give u a better estimate....as school rank enables us to evaluate the quality of ur rank

A 90 raw is somewhere about a mid band 6, which is pretty good. I reckon you can do it

maybe meant RE as in religious ed? that's what i always called SOR.

you have to quit SLR in year eleven though? maybe just at my school. it would be awesome to still do that instead of frees, then you don't feel obliged to do work. lol.

have u tried advanced sam? to tell u the truth it wont be fantastic as i have stated in another thread 49 per cent of people got either a band 5 or 6 in 2008 in advanced english so u would be in the bottom half of group and i have heard of people getting a uai in the 40's and 50's on boredofstudies with results as the same as urs-but then again it all depends on ur year group and the state as a whole maybe people will also get marks around yours so u dont really know-my advice pick up ur assesemnt marks and work ur backside off for teh hsc exams because if u ace them u can totally increase ur assesemnt mark

im not actually that sure like it depends ur raw marks might show that ur school marks really hard lik i know for my hsc results in english i knew my raw marks and my actualu hsc assement mark had jumped by 7 so my the difference between my raw and actual was +7 plus also i believe im not sure but if u beat ur assesment mark substantially they increase ur assesment mark so eg say u got raw marks of 70 for assesment and in the hsc exam u got 85 ur assesment marks might increase to 80+ so the method i used was to try and get the best in my hsc exams so my assesment mark could increase
