I was bored of study the minute I started!!!
For me, there won't be a "enough of study, I'm pumped" for a while :(
I'm concentrating on studying English and Science tonight, I'll worry about Maths and History/Geo tomorrow night.

Comprehension, Deconstructing Texts and Creative Writing.

The only way you can study for English is through past papers, knowing your language/poetic/visual techniques, knowing how to structure your answers with fluent expression and knowing the characteristics of different text types.

Agreed yvette. I've got all my notes set for geography and history to full cram tomorrow. Maths I'll be fine. But science and english I'm going to continue to study until 8.30, then TV :D.

I came across this question in the 06 paper...
"Name ONE sound device used in the expression ’plugs and bungs‘."

Sound device, anyone able to tell me what that means?

edit: wrong thread, but I'll leave it here anyway. :)

What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of series and parallel circuits respectively?

Series -
advantages - one switch for everything
disadvantages - if one thing (need a better word), er, 'dies', the whole circuit 'dies', more resistance

Parallel -
opposite of series :p

Parallel also requires more wiring, whereas series doesn't :p

assonance = repetition of vowel sounds usually in the middle of words

alliteration = repetition of non-vowel sounds usually at the start of words
