Quite possibly. Because 2 unit (and even 2 unit) require less thinking (and talent).

i got 75 in 4u, and was disappointed at it...
i checked out what kind of scaled mark for my 75 would be and it would be nicely over 80.
remember that you would still be doing 3u and if you do 4u, 2 units of 3u will count, rather than just 1 unit.
