99.** UAI Possible with <90 in Eng Adv? (1 Viewer)

I got 87 for English Advanced this year.. I'm in year 11, and I'm thinking of doing it again next year to get a mark higher than 90, if it's needed for a UAI of 99.**. I intend on doing these subjects too:

Bio - 97 (Did it this year)
Chemistry
4U Maths
Philosophy

I'm looking at 90+ in these subjects.

What do you guys think?

you can easily make 99 with 87 Eng Adv...

I was thinking more of 99.7*+... looking at the thread about 99.90/100, the minimum mark was 92 or some where around there... guess 87 just won't be enough :/

What about low 90s? Say in the ranges of 90-93 for Chem and 4U, and 95+ for Maths Ext 1?

yeah but they migh fuck him anally - remember area of study changed between these years, and also he might be given diff texts for modules

i got 89 in hsc av eng and got 99.00 for uai, so yes its possible. you have to get band 6's in all yr other units though

a guy at my school got 99.25 with a 79 in adv english

he got 97 in 3u and 4u maths though

and then 95 in chem phys
and maybe 93 in bio but that didnt count for uai

something along those lines anyway

Yeh I know the risk is there... but the thing that sparked this thread was the fact that I got 83 in the exam, and 90 for assessment... dissapointing to say the least.

Lol, I got the same mark as you with an 88 in the exam. Sigh.

Ended up with 99.75, so hey, it's possible.
