i cant believe no one mentioned High- lighthouse family.. its like.. the best..
My grade did that last year, it worked quite well actually even though at first I thought it'd be too cliche. I recommend a slowish song like this one because you actually have a chance to hear what people are saying rather than a bunch of muffled words and crying. I personally wanted at the time to use a section of You Get You Give by the New Radicals. I think the F.R.I.E.N.D.s song is pretty cliche too probably but it has a nice tune and if no one can sing at least they can clap
Also use as many school in jokes/references as you can when you change the lyrics because no other schools may get it but it makes it that much more special/personal for your grade
For the sake of it, here's some our last year graduation song to High
