Accepting offers difficulty (1 Viewer)

Hi ppl,

Does anyone having difficulty accepting offers online?

I got offered B Business and Commerce/B Laws. I had been trying to go online to accept the offer but it keep saying "Logon failed".

I couldn't go to the next step since the first step havn't been done yet on that page Welcome | Online Selection and Course Acceptance System.



Does anyone having difficulty accepting offers online?

OMG i had the exact same problem!
After an hour of trying to login in i finally realised that where it asks to put your name, it only asks for your family/last name lol i felt pretty stupid hahahaha

How the hell did you get a 91.3 UAI?

Noo, I did type my last name in.

But it still says logon failed.

I called UWS, and the lady said try again tonight becuase there are so many ppl signing on. This happens like those ppl that experience difficulty to log on to check their UAI.

I don't know, I'm kinda worried and annoyed at the same time, I just wanted to get it over and done with instead of having to log on for hours and days. UWS won't be open till Tuesday...arggggg.....

Are you a deferred student? Because I got an offer last year, and deferred it to this year, so when I was given the same offer again, and tried to accept it, I encountered the same problem. UWS did give me a phone call, and they told me it is due to a system problem, which does not allow student who have previously transferred out of their course through deferment to re-take the offer, and they are trying to fix it in 1-2 weeks time. This problem has affected around 10 students. UWS will not penalise students who have been affected by it. However, I would suggest you contact UWS stating your problem via email, so you can clarify all the details more easily.

No I didn't defer....I gave UWS a call and they say maybe becuz of net slowing down, but I'm pretty sure thats not the reason becuz I been trying it out for at least 2 days (day and nite).

Oh I don't really know now, I guess I will send them an email but then again they probably not gonna reply until the next working day which is Tuesd, so whats the point. I'll try to hold my breath, try to sleep for another 2 nites and call them on Tuesd.

This thing is worrying me.

Oh hi ppl on BOS, after waiting and worrying for 4 days...I finally be able to called them after Aus day. The UWS admission help me out by doing it for me on their computer system. Everything is all sorted now.
