Hey everyone, I just received an offer from Usyd so am trying to accept the offer. However, this course is my backup plan as i may not be getting in UNSW. I just want to accept it just for now and enrol into Usyd later if i don't get into UNSW. I can't enrol now as i have to deposit $$$$ (international student) but I want to make sure that i don't lose this offer just cuz i didn't apply in time.. what are the steps to secure my spot in UNI. I have already obtained my SID and username/password. Is this good point or do I have to enrol to secure my spot...
** Problem with enrolling is that i don't have money ATM, but think i can manage it if its the only way..

And how long does the offer last for? I saw somewhere that i have to accept before 14 days..

Any suggestion/comments are appreciated.

Your best port of call would be ringing up the university itself, but I'm not too sure if Student Services is normally staffed or there are skeleton staff present.

The university is currently in its annual christmas shutdown until the 3rd of Jan. Do try calling though.

These pages may assist you:

"If you receive an offer through UAC for admissions to the University of Sydney in 2012, you should accept your offer within 14 days of the date of your offer, or by 10 February 2012, whichever is earlier."

"When you accept your offer through IOWA, you must also arrange for payment of the deposit amount listed in your Course Offer Summary. Your place in your course is not confirmed until payment has been received.'
