Accg352/353 (1 Viewer)

Im doing accg329 this sem, and i need to choose between 352 and 353..

I've done enough research on this forum, but most of them were more than 2 years old, and i need some more decent feedbacks on those 2 units..

Recently i talked to quite a number of my friends and in general they said 352 is really hard and exam was hell whereas 353 was not that bad and exam was easy??

Is dat true? Right now im enrolled in 352 and im leaning towards 353..

Heard mixed things about 353, ie the exam was queer and didnt really focus on the textbook shit. Tbh I think its a very poorly run unit just judging at who was running it last year.

I did ACCG352 last semester (also my LAST semester) and I have to say I'd rather give birth to an echidna. The first part of the unit run by Ryle was bad because you couldn't understand what he was actually saying. Attendance at tutes was 2 people. There was no guidance as to the essay or what the criteria were. His exam was of the "write like crazy for 90 minutes and hope you've written enough to pass". The second part of the unit was run by Geoff and was even worse I think. The problems and lecture content had 0 in common with the final. The final was the hardest exam I've done at Macquarie. I got 59 and I am HAPPY with that result.

Others might have had better experiences, but that's mine!!

Haven't done 353 so can't compare.

sounded like very horrible subject.. u said the 2nd lecturer was even worse than Ryle then he must be REALLY i mean REALLY bad... i got ryle pererra last semester for accg253 and one of the worst lecturer ever..
