Accomodation: New College Village or Colombo House? (1 Viewer)

Currently staying at NCV and considering moving into the Colombo House. Got offered a spot but haven't visited it yet as I'm not currently in Sydney. Has anyone checked it out? What are your opinions of it?

Is Colombo House the one under construction/almost finished?

Yeah, it's the one built on High St.

Unfortunately it's all artist's impressions right now so... to the OP, it could be good if you want to have an adventure into the unknown new realms.

Colmbo House was partially open at the open day. The rooms looked smaller than New College, but they all had wash basins or on suites, and most had balconies. The kitchens looked pretty good, but they seemed to be mostly targeting it at students who wanted to eat Hala food or Kosher.
Colombo house also requires you to cook your own food, their is no cattering
