I have an assessment task due next week it is a speech. The main text text is Looking for Alibrandi, and I must - from my own choosing - write a speech about the book and relate it to another text using cultural, social and personal identity.
Any ideas on what text I should choose and what aspects of Alibrandi I should use to link them too the related texts?

I did Looking for Alibrandi last year, and my themes were kind of the same. And I picked The Truth About Forever. It's about a girl finding out who she is. I'm not totally sure that it'll fit with what you need to do, but it's pretty English-y.
