When I was beggining on my L's my Instructor said that 60hrs is usually satisfactory. In fact, I only did 45hrs and got my license in five months.

Dont forget, if you got your license before July 2007 you dont need to show 120hrs done in Victoria. No idea about NSW.

This is probably the wrong thread but I have a question about driving in general, cbf starting a new one over one question.

Do you need to put your indicators on every time you pass a parked car, or go around someone turning? I was on a road with no markings that was 4 cars wide and my instructor told me to stick to the very left, even though this meant constantly swerving around parked cars. There were no other cars on the road, but it just got so repetitive turning blinkers on and off..

yes. if you move more than a metre sideways, you are supposed to use your indicator
