Hi, just wondering if anyone can offer some general/specific advice on creative writing and essays, anything from tips to specific structure will be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey,

I can help you with thecreative writing side of things, not so much with the essay, i need to perfect that :)

Ok let's see, Creative Writing:

Basically you need to get an idea in your head FIRST.
So if the stimulus is a ring, try and work out how you can make that your own idea. How to make it one of a kind. for example, when I did this stimulus for Advanced, I used the ring as someone's tie to a person who had died, as their tie to sanity, and as their tie to belonging. Make sure that the story keeps the stimulus, and you don't throw it away half way through the story, also link it to the concept (belonging for example) in someway, and keep that going through out the story aswell.

Another thing to think about is length. aim for 2-3 A4 pages. don't go to far over and definately don't go to far under that either. If you're not good at creative writing practice.:read:

Once you have an idea run with it. my BIGGEST advice would be to PRACTICE.

If you want to send me creative stories feel free to :)

Hope that helped in some way.
