Anyone that has been to the Gold Coast on Schoolies before, do you remember or know what the alcohol prices are like, for liquor stores? Are they regular prices, or do they jack them up?

same for some jack up for others... larger ones keep them the same as they still serve the regulars which would otherwise complain or go to a cheaper one. so most keep it the same to keep the market share XD

Yea man, went last year, all the prices were pretty much the exact same if not cheaper than Sydney. I think they realised that the word spreading around that they had cheap drinks was better than fooling a few people into buying expensive ones.
