I am not being defensive.. I admitted it at the start that I was rubish at it.

I just think its really unnecessary to go on about how I am 'bad at maths'. Its unnecessary to talk about anyones not-so-good areas.

Read what I said before, it's pretty much directed at you.

Wow, how rude guys. I was just asking for help with these questions, and thank you for those that did help me.
It's not really nesseccary to bag me out for being hopeless at algebra.
Maybe you guys are good at maths and everything else to do with school work, but I bet you guys have noo idea about socializing. Haven't you ever heard of 'if you don't have anything nice to say, dont say anything.' Now thats some year 7-9 work for you guys to catch up on.
Okay, to be honest, I didn't really read your entire first post. I just glanced over the equations and they were year 8 material so I thought you were bad at Maths, which lead me to write it in the comment section.

I'm sorry if I offended you, but if I'd read your first post in its entirety, I probably wouldn't have made my first post.

Anyway, end of discussion.

You're crap at Maths and I'm crap at the sciences. Deal?

1. 7-2(1-2x) = 9-4x

2. 5x-5(2x+1) = 10x+5

3. 5-4(x-2) = 4x-8

4. 7(x-3)+1 = 7x-21

Thanks for these really challenging questions.

1. 7-2(1-2x) = 7 - 2 + 4x
= 5 + 4x

2. 5x-5(2x+1) = 5x - 10x - 5
= -5x - 5

3. 5-2(x-2) = 5 - 2x + 4
= 9 - 2x

4. 7(x-3)+1 = 7x - 21 + 1
= 7x - 20

Yeah, it looks like it was pretty challenging for you.

Looking at some of the questions she asks in other threads, I don't think she has much idea of the outside world anyway, lol.

I don't understand though, what year 11 course would have questions like those? And if you had an issue with such things, why on earth would you still be studying maths????
