They use multiple years but it’s all similar anyways who cares as long as the range isn’t like more than .2 or smth
no shit sherlock, but my follow up was how inaccurate will that make it for a specific yearThat how all Atar calcs work buddy
No you old hag you just stayed the obvious and you stated it would be significantly varied which is not trueno shit sherlock, but my follow up was how inaccurate will that make it for a specific year
damnn that's actually really cool. thanks googlehttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1W6qc3Hi3FIMs2M63B3xqR4eaBEL5kXxxaydSTrERy1U/edit?usp=sharing took like a minute lol
tested with a couple random marks and it gives pretty much identical results to ATAR compass. as long as atar compass stays up id just use that though tbh
For some reason I despise your usernamedamnn that's actually really cool. thanks google

im just estimating from last years data, aligned->scaled conversion doesn't change too much year to year though since the whole idea of aligned marks is that they're comparable between years within a subject. so up high atars it should be within about 0.2 ATAR points (more likely to be too low than too high) I'd sayso ur estimating from prev years which will still lead to significant variation due to this years scaling
i just dragged across some rows from the raw mark ATAR calcHow do u just come up with this stuff it’s crazy
Sshhh u came up w it all by urselfi just dragged across some rows from the raw mark ATAR calc
make it slightly lower, so there's no chance of being disappointed by our actual atarI can probably rig up an aligned->ATAR spreadsheet if they end up going down
