nothing will happen to anyone who got any results........its the BOS ppl who r responsible for this.....if they didnt have such crappy security this wouldnt have happened..........if anyone gets in trouble it will be the kid who hacked in............everyone else is fine.......yingisy said:ok....hypothetical....let's say a person got somebody else to get their results.....could they still get in trouble?
em_516 said:why?..did YOU do something? you seem a bit worried about what'll happen to those caught..
edit:..and your hypothetical question..hmm :uhhuh:
To be honest, I think the police will have better things to do with their time. I mean its 100 people we are talking about. Only the guy who hacked the site, would get into major trouble. So unless your the hacker, take it easyyingisy said:ok....hypothetical....let's say a person got somebody else to get their results.....could they still get in trouble?
yeah youre right - the news reports are referring to an irc channel, not really bos itselfdprs said:I think the "internet chat room" was a channel on MIRC
And Brett didnt hack in, he just used the site![]()
Technically yes, although it is a legal grey area. In reality, nobody's going to get into trouble, more likely Board of Studies will be investigated for how such information was stored so insecurely.yingisy said:let's say a person got somebody else to get their results.....could they still get in trouble?
