I feel like thats just there to confuse you - since regardless of the volume of the excess silver nitrate, the amount of iodide ions that have reacted with the AgNO3 will not be affected. Hence, you can just use a normal method to account for this..... In that case I got 2.0M to 2sf (if I did not mess up calculation)
