does it annoy anyone else how when celebrities die, they're suddenly perfect people? that people suddenly like their movies or songs because they're dead? i don't believe the death of a composer should change the way a piece of work or an action is viewed. he made mistakes like everyone else and happened to be musically gifted. now he's a superstar.

Try to be understanding. You won't know for sure if your friend is just being melodramatic, or if he's genuinely experiencing such degrees of grief :/ Just watch out for him and see that he doesn't do anything that's too drastic.
