Goodness gracious me... you have to analyse a WEBPAGE! *shudders* I never had to do that...

Ok. Well, a webpage is - sort - of like a feature article, or newspaper I guess. Why don't you look at colour, fonts, size of font, satire, pictures, those cool moving pictures, ads, background, even music?

+Analyse its texts like a typical text and looks for its techniques (puns, repetition, oxymorons, hypoerbole etc). An easy way of doing this is identifying the webpage's purpose: Is it an advertisement? Is it an online enyclopedia?
+Hyperlinks: What do they lead to and why are they associated with that page
+Headings: what has been done to draw your attention to this webpage?
+Visual features/images: All symbolise and are linked with the pupose of the site eg. Colour scheme, font, banners, photos, anmations (flash)

Yes, as others have said analyse the textual content primarily.

THEN analyse the features of a website (colours, fonts, images etc).

Ask yourself WHY the fact that it's a website makes it different to, say, a newspaper article? A novel? Immediacy? Lack of verisimilitude? etc etc

Ok going home now, if I think of anything reply and I will pick up the thread :)

analysis of textual features is important - but you MUST look at those features and techniques specific to webpages to reach full marks. consider hyperlinks and icons, interactive text, music links etc. as well as common textual features that others have mentioned.
remember to link them into the concept of journey - this can seem stupid, like saying that icons are invitations to journey, show the limitless possibilities of journey etc. but they get you good marks so who cares?
