well my hsc finishes on the 31st. and i'm going to the concert on the 1st
SO ITS PPPPPPPPEEEEERFECTTT!!!!!!!

and wow..they make it sound so good, and the conductor's SO BRILLIANT (from his intro)

kt san, this concert is composed of orchestral music from studiio ghibli (totoro, laputa, spirited away etc) and final fantasy..

but its concentrated on studio ghibli

Hahaha! Jogloran and I have been going weekly (until beginning of stuvac) since late last year. Of course we refer to Kinokuniya as "k", hence my prior confusion.

The concert was excellent, you should go see it and buy their CD from Kinokuniya next month. Everyone, go see this concert! You can afford the one night and $35 dollars lost

I took my girlfriend and some friends there last night. However, I don't like classical music so I thought it was quite girly.

you should be doing everything you can to avoid manga in English and read in Japanese! I read Love Hina (in Japanese) because most of the language is contemporary and easy to understand, and Akematsu has chosen to put furigana beside most of his kanji. It is also the least hentai shonen manga that's worth reading.

oh oh oh..they're goign to have a 'massive' final fantasy concert next mid-year. DEFFFFFFFFINITELY going.

but if they were goign to do tha,t they might as well have made this concert 'studio ghibli' only...

the singing for 'eyes on me' kinda sucked though
only faye wong is the best!! hehehehe

oh.. btw.. the last song they played called 'overworld' from ffx...i thought it was 'otherworld'
a bit dissapointed to see that it wasn't "

No, it wasn't even from FFX... it was the overworld theme from FF2! I was thinking... why are there singers going up on stage if it was either the FFX overworld theme, or else, 'Otherworld'?

EDIT: I knew I'd heard that exact arrangement before: it's from the old album "Final Fantasy Symphonic Suite", Scene I.
