can't be bothered putting pics, or looking for them.

Datsun 240Z or Mitsubishi Evolution IX

Toyota Supra or Porsche Carrera S

FPV GT or Lexus SC430

thinking of taking back the SC430 and getting THIS instead!

all it needs is a rear bumper replacement and a metallic black paint job, maybe some better chrome rims :D oh yeah!

Hmm:

4cyl: I think this has to go to a hot hatch, so the STi WRX, Mitsu EVO or Golf GTI takes it depending on your taste.

5cyl: Audi Quattro.

6cyl: Can't go past the R34 Skyline GTR-V-specII-Nur/Nismo Z-Tune

8cyl: The SRT-8 has alot of aesthetic appeal but up agaisnt such pedigree as Aston Martins, GT(40)s etc doesn't stand a chance. Then theres the classics like the Corvette Sting ray and Mustang. Conclusion to many to choose.

Fine I'll upload some... in terms of looks I really liked the Astra Coupe (I was so close to buying one too!)...

But I also like the e92... looks pretty good once you look at it a few more times. Definitely grows on ya.

Can't go past the look of the old e46 though.

But my favourite BMW has to be the 6 series. Can't get by that look. Pure sexiness.

Back to Japanese cars though... Evo7 and R34s.

Anyway... if anyone wants to see; I've got some nice pics on my site... http://jace88.atspace.org under the Cars folder. I was gonna put up pics of my own Civic but then... nah :p It's too cool to be placed amongst these cars! jkjk~

PS. Aren't I nice for going with the flow of the thread... after all, it was called "pic thread". :)

lol but it's so PIMP! :D

seriously this thread made me spend all night looking up cars. i ended up looking for modifications for the 1MZ-FE engine that's in my camry. i wonder if there are any busted Avensis' or Highlander/Klugers that I can steal the VVTi versions of this engine from and stick it into my Camry or buy one for myself to modify :p the new Camry is going to be so hot! Aurion might be better still.

cars i want

Ford Focus ( i prefer them in silver as hatches )

Datsun 240Z ( modified with SR engine )

FPV GT

Toyota Supra ( on Need For Speed: Most Wanted, ignore the vinyl )

Toyota Celica 1600 GT circa '73

Lexus IS300 ( the car i believe will probably be the perfect balance of performance and reliability as well as small enough to park yet slightly classy )

Toyota Camry ( new one out next year or end of this year )

Toyota Camry ( same one as mine but in different colour <3 )

still think the Astra looks ugly in my opinion.

The new Camry looks like something I'd expect out of Lexus... which whilst good in terms of looking good, it's not so good in terms of making the Lexus brand anything special.

If you pick up certain car magazines there are usually advertisements in the back which feature engines/half cuts I think.

Repost with piccies for you to enjoy.

4cyl: I think this has to go to a hot hatch, so the STi WRX (not the current model because I detest the front end), Mitsu EVO or Golf GTI takes it depending on your taste.

5cyl: Audi Quattro.

From memory Zoom carries adverts from importers so grab a copy for half cuts etc. The other place to look is directly at wreckers/importers specifically specialists eg 'justjap' in sydney.
