Hey guys looking for brain bee alumni how did you guys like it this year?

No, a neuroscience comp called the australian brain bee challenge.

its not wtf its a competition for good science students. You register on the internet, download the PDF of the study book, which is an introduction to neuroscience concepts, study the book, then you answer questions on it in an online quiz. The top 5 percent or thereabouts of quiz takers are selected for the state finals. You download a different book this time, slightly longer and with more concepts, but still just an introduction to concepts of neuroscience. Study well, then answer questions at the state finals. Then if you win the state finals, the difficulty increase for nationals is massive, you go from a laymans introduction to neuroscience to a university level neuroanatomy textbook. Then if you win nationals you go to international, which is held in different places around the world. This year it was in Florence, Italy. Next year in Washington DC. It's like the science olympiads, only without a team. There is a team element at state level, but national and up you're on your own.

We started calling him the "Brain Beast"!

It basically tests how well you can swallow information. Kid I knew checked all A's and got into the next round. I got in and declined because I had better things to do in year 10.
