I met some chick in Chemistry yesterday that seemed so nice
But when she heard I wanted to go to Nightwish but wasn't 18 yet she was like "HA! OMG! POOR YOU! HAHHAA IM GOING! ARE YUO GOING? NO? WHY? OH YEAH YOU'RE UNDER 18. BWAHAHAHA. HAVE FUN AT HOME. YOU SEE, *I* WOULDN'T MISS THIS FOR THE WORLD. CAN YOU GO? NO YOU CAN'T. I CAN."


It was SO annoying.

That was rather mean. I'm sure they will be back (considering the first show in melbourne and the sydney show sold out).

Pretty incredible show, great atmosphere too. I hate it when you go see a band and they're getting around on stage being really careful not to smile in case they don't seem tough enough. Totally not the case with Nightwish, great fun

well okay, sorta.

I've read all these reviews about how good their arena-based live shows are and I really wanted them to come to Australia.

And then they do.
And I get all excited.

And then I find out it's an over 18's show.

And I'm not 18.

My God that was a big ball of suck.

To be honest, I would prefer the status quo, ie. 18+ gigs. One thing I detest about all ages gigs are the bunch of "kids" in Immortal or Darkthrone T-shirts and the like.
Even though I'm somewhat 130 days short of becoming legally an adult, I do sneak into gigs, get acquainted with the bouncers, etc. Rather than whinging, do as Jesus do (ahem, I).
