Any Ways To enjoy Studying????... Just In Time For The Hoildays (1 Viewer)

I asked my mate just before the holidays how you study so much (4+ hrs a day) and he goes he enjoys studying, I was about to ask him how but then he walked off >.>

So any tips?

You could try asking him again.
Otherwise I don't know. Unless you inherently enjoy the subjects you're doing, it's going to be hard for you to 'enjoy' studying. I just knuckle down and tell myself to do it.
There are ways like different learning strategies and appealing to what sort of learner you are (visual, auditory, kinaesthetic) etc, you could try those techniques

I think the only way you could enjoy studying would be if you really liked your subjects. It depends on the individual but different techniques can be fun. You might enjoy constructing visual representations of information, i.e. mind-maps, posters, diagrams, etc. I know as a History student, I also like writing; so as a 'fun' way to study I write a narrative that coincides with the content I learn in History (helpful for both History and English!). Other ways could be to create songs, acronyms, metaphors for the content. My Ancient Class in particular last year studied Roman society so my teacher made Roman society applicable to our school environment, so different positions correlated to different Roman positions and terms (was great for learning terminology for the period). Not sure if I helped, and I do apologise that my information is more History orientated, it's the only subject I enjoy studying for; and these are the sorts of things I do to make it fun for me. Sure beats the monotony of 4 hours of reading and summarising information.

Tis called rewarding yourself for the amount of studying progress you have accomplished. e.g so you finished that tedious essay, now go have some fun, go out with mates or play some video games or watch a film whatever suits ur relaxation needs.

I find maths enjoyable when i'm listening to music, only because i don't have to really think when i do it. Otherwise, i don't really know how studying can be enjoyable...

And there's no magic number of hours you should study for. Just make a list of things you have to get done that day and work until you do it all. Of course, make it a realistic list
