only a specified group of people would know what i'm referring to, and funny i put it under Maths ext 2.

Anyway, if you've been in the past, was it worth the time, money and energy? I mean it's in year 12 when the time is pretty precious and it's not totally cheap, not to mention travel hassles. were you homesick?

if you're going this year, what do you think of it?

Umm... okay.
Money: yeah. I guess you can apply for financial if you want to...
Time and energy: I'm a bit biased on this one. Most ppl found it heaps of fun, basically you have 2 talks every day, but much of the day (say afternoon and night?) is mucking around and having fun with other people... if you haven't been to a camp where you don't know most of the ppl, go to this one, you'll meet lots of amazing ppl.

As to syllabus/things you learn, well duh it's maths! I'm guessing you haven't done much out of school maths before, in which case you'll find that it's quite challenging and fun :) I don't like the main lecturer much, but aside from that all the staff are very nice.

Travelling is fun! Especially by plane... makes me feel valued by airplane companies, not to mention frequent flyer points... *LOL*

Homesickness... probably not. It's only 2 weeks, the ppl you'll meet will be great, I went 2 years ago and we still meet up in uni to have lunch/have big reunions in holidays...

Yeah... any more questions? :)

Others who read this, write something more :) One opinion is never enough...

yap, sorry turtle, i didn't check this thread for some time. You're really cool, i looked at your profile and you've turned out exactly the way i want to turn out in a year's time when i finish the HSC.

I just did a more detailed check of your profile and now i know a looot about you. It's no wonder you replied to my post, being who you are *wink wink*. I think i'd better pm you, considering i might reveal your identity to the public if i write further.

OTT: usually what happens when teenagers trivially bump foreheads.

NMSS = National Mathematics Summer School
It's more of a social event :p
It seemed fun though.

the emphasis should be "accomodation", considering they get to stay at bruce hall...
