hey guyss & gurlss...

im currently doing music now, im pretty worried about the amount of work we've done so far. till now we dont really do anything except for playing instruments and do basic stuff. at class we basiclly just do whatever we want and we've only done theory work once or twice this yr.
i asked the teacher if we're in time with the syllabus and shes pretty sure that we are fine.

im just wondering what other people are doing in their music class? and what kind of stuff do you study??

You really don't need to do anything ever.

Just make sure your aural skills are up to scratch for your hsc test.
Make sure you gun the assessments (composition, musicology - whatever the teacher sets).
Your performances are the important thing (depending on how many you do).

You shouldn't really worry at this stage.

Are you doing Music 1 or 2? For music 2 you don't really need to worry much about year 11, it's year 12 where you have to put in a lot of work. But yeah, just make sure you keep up to date with everything and do well in your assessments and stuff. And try to practise everyday for performance ;)
