Anyone else doing their folios in Indesign (1 Viewer)

Just wondering if anybody else is considering using Indesign, my teacher is really encouraging us to but when i went to Design Tech I saw all the folios and presentation was shit but the content was so through so maybe I should just do it in word and save the time...any thoughts?

of yeh, and if you're using it do you have any tips to share

I though about it but you can get some prtety nice results presentation wise in word 2007 so that is what i am using.

Just its important to have lots of pictures/graphics to back up the text, and maybe a letterhead too.

I was using that but it kept lagging lol
I ended up just using normal word and decorated it with colour paper and crap rofl
