Hell yeah, i am SO going to tell my maths teacher about this. He keeps going on about 'once you've sent your paper away, you'll never see it again". ha, bullcrap

He is speaking the truth though (half the truth really). You really don't get the paper back unless you fight for it.

The Office of the Board of Studies retains the original examination scripts
for 6 months after the date of the last HSC written examination.

for anyone who's interested, looks like we have until the 13th of May to get our scripts back

So if we were sending a FOI off we tick that we want to inspect the original exam booklets or receive a copy of them?

Yes - whichever form of access you'd prefer.

in which case would we be entitle to a 50% rebate?

My understanding is that the rebate applies if you're a minor (< 18) or there are other special circumstances.
