what does senior units of study mean then? arent i in juinor?

It's a way of easily highlighting the hierarchy of units (i.e. recommended completion, prereqs etc.)

Anyone can do any level provided they are permitted to do it within in their degree and the prereqs are met.

Hmmm it is worth taking the risk though? I need a D average for Law transfer, so with this in mind, would I be better off choosing an easier subject in which I can do well?
yes. finance isn't known as an easy discipline (or in this case, subject.)

cuz ive chosen it and im still not sure if i am allowed to despite some people eg, (ozko) saying you can.

I'm doing it in 2nd sem, but will probably change my mind later on, due to some of the things I have heard regarding its difficulty..

Dude seriously, you do not have to post every single question that comes to your head without using any sort of critical thinking on your end. Why don't you just speak to an academic advisor about whether you're allowed to do it, given that the opinion of a fellow university student regarding your specific circumstances is hardly concrete enough to base your study intentions around.
