Oh, I'm thinking of doing Japanese as a major as well. You get to go to a Japanese uni for a year right? Do you know what unis in Japan you can choose from?

btw, is ANU really the best uni to do Asian languages?

I don't know if ANU is the best place to do Asian Languages, but Canberra is so cheap and the universities so easy to get into... :3
Apparently ANU is a pretty good uni, especially for languages, though.
I guess they'll send you wherever is available? Probably anywhere but Tokyo, haha.

Canberra is not cheap.
ANU has an excellent Asian Studies faculty.
