Are Year 9 Students Eligible for "N" Awards (1 Viewer)

If a year 9 student fails to complete a task for a mandatory subject (geography, math, English etc.) are they supposed to get an 'N' Award or does this only apply to students who are in year 10 and up?

" ‘N’ Warning Letters will only be issued in Year 9 in regard to mandatory components of a Year 9
course (eg the Student Research Project in Science)".

I think it may depend on the task/how the individual school feels about it.

More likely you'll be ask to do the task, and get a warning letter.

ive been told to give one of my Year 7s an N award for their continual non attempt at English task

What year do they force you to repeat? Or can they in year 9?
