Just wondering how much detail everyone went into this outcome:
Analyse and present information from secondary sources to report on progress in the production of artificial blood

Did you just look at HBOCs and perfluorocarbons or did you go into hemopure and MP4 and stuff?
Thanks!

Prepare a report about the history of artificial blood: Volume expanders -> PFCs and HBOCs -> Hemopure + one other recent development. Provide reasons why they were developed, and what prompted the research e.g. AIDS epidemic in Africa was one of the reasons. Also, future research and development that have yet to be developed are blood clotters and immune defence. Talk about the potential and disadvantages of these developments, and the importance of artificial blood in general.

There's a good guide for how to write this report in Biology in Focus from pages 61-63.

Mine was about a page in length. Hope this helps.
