Just got my offer.

Looks like it's going to be Bankstown campus.

Anyone else doing a Bachelor of Arts this year? Or any humanities, for that matter?

Let's start up a little group here.

I'm was planning on doing psychology as a major, but im not sure if its still offered as its not in the UWS handbook...so I was considering doing Social and Cultural Analysis...What major are you doing??

Psychology is still offered as a major, it's in the handbook here: Unit Set

There's two unit set structures: an APS accreditted psychology program (both a major AND a submajor adding up to 120 points). You can also do a 80 point major or 40 point submajor, but these are not accreditted for those who wish to continue onto honours or 4th year in order to become a practicing psychologist.

Some of my mates are social and cultural analysis majors, they have very interesting subjects (I did one as an elective called Everyday Life, was really good!)

seems like all psych students are girls, it's gonna be a good year

I remember in first year, most of the psych major students took part in a survey for our major assignment - the cohort that took part had approx 150 girls, 60 guys.

It will be a good year

Oh and don't be surprised if you end up in a tutorial being the only male, or having one other guy with you. It has happened before lol.
